A huge , huge thank you to all the ladies who took part in the Moonlight Walk. You were a fantastic bunch of ladies and have pledged an amazing £286,092-00 of sponsorship money for the Hospice. This is an incredible amount of money and when we add the gift aid to this total you will have raised £300,000 plus.(please ladies can you send in your sponsorship money in as soon as you can). When it was all over I thought good I can have a break for a couple of weeks from processing registration forms. Silly me, the first one for 2009 was on my desk Monday morning after the walk!!!Can't wait for the next 2,499 to arrive. See you again in 2009

Hi,Completed the walk on Saturday 7th june 2008. It took about 4hours and although it left me feeling a little tired, it has given me a great sense of achievement and I feel really proud of myself and the other ladies who did it. Well done everyone!! See you next year.

It was our first time doing anything like this, we really enjoyed the event, so well organised, the atmosphere was brilliant and we were all very proud to be taking part in our first half marathon walk for such a good cause, we will be back next year, cant wait, we completed in four hours. well done to all the ladies who walked.

Well done to the Day Care team and their families for completing the walk. Thanks to all the patients for buying raffle tickets, cakes and making donations. well done to everyone who took part in the moonlight walk last sat/sun. what a great night, i walked with my 2 fab friends and saw lots of other people i knew walking too. it was such fun, tough on the feet at times but well worth it knowing the money raised was goign to such a super place.i really really enjoyed it and proudly wearing my t-shirt on monday(today) to show off, i am still buzzing from the achievement.Thankyou also to all the stewards who were very encouraging at some of the points we passed, and also to all the ladies who encouragingly waved as they passed us on their way home, it spurred us on. well done to all. louise.

Once again we had a fantastic time. The weather held out again, and the atmosphere was unbelieveable. We would like to thank all the volunteers who kept us safe but most of all made us laugh round the course. By 3am could have sworn we had seen them all before...! We completed the course with almost all of our group still together. One suffering from a cold and a sore eye, and one with knee trouble.... but we made it and had a giggle along the way. We even made some friends in the city centre in the early hours and would like to thank them all for their kind contributions to our baseball cap! Once again a memorable and humbling experience!
